EVNGENCO3 SUPPORTED THE CONSTRUCTION OF 02 ROADS IN THE RURAL AREAS OF BEN TRE

On January 27, 2024 - On behalf of celebrating the 94th Communist Party of Vietnam Foundation Anniversary (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), Power Generation Corporation 3 together with the Party Committee of the Block of Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City (Party Committee of the Block) and the Party Committee of Mo Cay Bac district had successfully released concrete work on 02 rural roads in Ben Tre.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were Ms. Le Thi Hong Nga - Secretary of the Block Party Committee, Ms. Vo Van Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Block Party Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Tho - Deputy Secretary of the Block Party Committee, Mr. Vo Minh Thang - Deputy General Director of Power Generation Corporation 3, Mr. Truong Van Phuong - Director of EVNGENCO3 Power Service Company, along with leaders of Departments, Block Party Committee Offices, and Block Trade Unions, Youth Union of the Block, Youth Union of Power Generation Corporation 3.

On the side of local leaders were Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thao - Secretary of the Party Committee of Mo Cay Bac district, Ben Tre province, and the representatives of Phu My commune, Mo Cay district.

EVNGENCO3 provided financial contributions to the local government and residents of My Son Dong hamlet, Phu My commune, to support the construction of these essential rural concrete roads. The project encompassed the construction of two roads, each measuring 640 meters long and 2 meters wide, at a total cost of 357 million VND. EVNGENCO3 generously financed 240 million VND of the project, with the remaining amount being contributed by the local authorities and residents.

The inauguration of the two new routes was met with great enthusiasm by the residents of My Son Dong Hamlet. These roads will significantly improve travel for both residents and students, promoting not only convenience but also the preservation of the hamlet's rural charm. Furthermore, the concreted roads are expected to create favorable conditions for the local economy to flourish.

As part of the inauguration ceremony, the delegation distributed Tet gifts to 20 underprivileged households in Phu My commune. These gifts, sponsored by Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3), held a total value of 10 million VND.

Mr. Vo Van Yen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Block and Mr. Vo Minh Thang - Deputy General Director of Power Generation Corporation 3 presented Tet gifts to the people of Phu My commune.

Also on this occasion, the delegation pays respects at the memorial stele for heroic martyrs at the Saigon - Gia Dinh Party Committee Base Relic in Mo Cay Bac district, Ben Tre. Additionally, they presented Tet gifts, sponsored by Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) with a total value exceeding 10 million VND, to both soldiers stationed in Phu My commune and underprivileged households residing there.
