On the morning of March 31, 2026, a working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, visited and encouraged operation teams at power plants in Phu My Power Center, who are striving to ensure electricity supply for the National Power System during the peak of the 2026 dry season.

As part of the program, the Deputy Minister and the delegation visited Phu My 1 Power Plant at Phu My Power Center Complex to review the operation, production, and maintenance activities of the plants. The Deputy Minister also met and encouraged operation shift personnel and employees working at the plants, acknowledging the strong sense of responsibility and efforts of EVNGENCO3’s workforce in maintaining safe and stable operation of generating units, contributing to reliable the power supply for the National Power System.

Leaders of Power Generation Corporation 3 joined the delegation in receiving the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s working group at the Central Control Room of Phu My 1 Power Plant.

Mr. Le Van Danh – Member of the Board of Directors and President & CEO of EVNGENCO3, provided a brief report on the Corporation’s power generation performance in the first three months of 2026, as well as the operational plan for the upcoming peak dry season months. Accordingly, EVNGENCO3’s affiliated generation units have maintained high availability and ensured safe operation, particularly the combined cycle gas turbine units at Phu My Power CenterComplex, which are always ready for startup and load increase to promptly meet all mobilization dispatch requirements of the National System and Market Operator (NSMO).

Following the visit to Phu My Power CenterComplex, the Deputy Minister acknowledged the efforts of Power Generation Corporation 3 and Phu My Thermal Power Company in ensuring safe and stable operation of generating units. He also requested the units to further strengthen operational discipline, enhance technical management, and proactively implement solutions to secure and maintain adequate fuel supply, to  ensureing safe, continuous, and efficient power generation during the 2026 dry season peak, thereby contributing to national energy security.
