Recently, at the Office of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, Phan Rang –Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province, representatives of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant (authorized by the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and EVN GENCO 3 Power Plant Repair Service Company (authorized by the Power Generation Corporation 3) signed the contract on management and operation services of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant (amended and supplemented Contract No. 03).

Recently, at the Office of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, Phan Rang –Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province, representatives of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant (authorized by the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and EVN GENCO 3 Power Plant Repair Service Company (authorized by the Power Generation Corporation 3) signed the contract on management and operation services of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant (amended and supplemented Contract No. 03).

Thus, EVN GENCO 3 Power Plant Repair Service Company (EPS) is assigned by EVNGENCO 3 to implement the contract on maintenance and repair services of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant including 3 plant units with the total capacity of 1800 MW.

The contract is valid until the end of 2023, the scope includes periodic repairs, incident remedy, overhaul, upgrade and improvement, performance restoration and enhancement, extension of service life for components, equipment and systems, processing, manufacturing and restoration of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant, Vinh Tan 4 Extension Thermal Power Plant.

Mr. Vu Thanh Hai - the Director of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant - the representative authorized by EVN signed the contract with the desire that in the coming time, EPS will continue to implement solutions to improve equipment reliability, availability coefficients, continuous and safe operations and minimization of maintenance costs of power plants. Especially, the application of RCM solution to ensure the electricity output of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant to meet targets assigned by EVN is accelerated, it is estimated that the annual plan is about 12 billion kWh.

Mr. Cao Minh Trung - the Deputy General Director of the Power Generation Corporation 3 and also Director of EPS - the representative authorized by EVNGENCO 3 signed the contract emphasized that “To effectively implement contract contents, EPS will try to strengthen the application of science and technology, improving the repair quality, focusing on the processing and restoration to quickly respond to replacement supplies for repair works, thence assisting plant units minimize costs and ensure the electricity output according to the plan assigned by the Corporation”.

Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant and Vinh Tan 4 Extension Thermal Power Plant (capacity of 1800 MW)

Up to now, the total capacity of power plants maintained and repaired by EPS is more than 7300 MW nationwide. The successful implementation of contents under the signed contract on management and repair services of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant is both a key task and an opportunity for EPS to continue affirming its reputation as the top brand in the field of maintenance of large-capacity coal power plants.
