On the morning of May 21, 2024, the management of Woodside Energy had a meeting with Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) to discuss potential cooperation opportunities in supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the operation of EVNGenco3’s gas turbine power plants.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Iain Scott, Mr. Iain Scott, Vice President, Global LNG Trading, and Ms. Tashya Mohamad, LNG Trading Executive, representing Woodside Energy. On behalf of EVNGENCO3, Mr. Vo Minh Thang, Deputy General Director, along with representatives from specialized departments, participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged updates on the LNG market, and its future outlook, and emphasized LNG's role in operating EVN's gas turbine power plants, particularly those of EVNGENCO3, as domestic gas supplies enter a phase of decline. Mr. Vo Minh Thang, representing the Corporation's leadership, expressed appreciation for Woodside Energy's visit, shared valuable insights into the LNG market, and expressed hope that both sides would continue to strengthen their relationship and explore future cooperation opportunities.
