1. Production and business acitivities:
The electricity production in November 2022 by EVNGenco3 reached 2.834 billion kWh, achieving 115.33% of the monthly plan. Cumulatively for the first 11 months, it reached 29.672 billion kWh, meeting 93.16% of the annual plan. The power plants of EVNGenco3 continued to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient electricity supply, meeting the mobilization requirements of the National Power System Regulation. The hydrological conditions remained favorable, with high mobilization of hydroelectric plants and low mobilization of thermal power plants, leading to some backup units being temporarily halted.
In the electricity market activities, the company continues to participate and adhere to the current regulations, effectively establishing bidding plans that are suitable for the electricity market situation and operational conditions of the power units, ensuring efficient production and business outcomes.
2. Environmental work
Environmental protection and ash/slag management at power plants continue to be ensured. The entire daily amount of ash/slag generated by Mông Dương 1 Thermal Power Plant and a significant portion of the daily ash/slag generated by Vĩnh Tân 2 Thermal Power Plant and Ninh Bình Thermal Power Plant have been properly disposed of. The coal-fired power plants continue to accomplish the task of adjusting and improving the utilization of fly ash and slag by establishing pipelines for fly ash transportation to oil ports and dedicated ports for ash and slag, aiming to enhance the utilization of power plant ash and slag for landfilling, as well as for use as additives in cement and construction materials.
The results of regular monitoring of emissions, wastewater, cooling water, and the surrounding environment are all within the permissible limits set by current regulations. All data from the online environmental monitoring systems at Mong Duong 1, Vinh Tan 2, and Ninh Binh Thermal Power Plants are directly transmitted to the local Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and electronic displays installed at the entrance of the power plants ensure continuous, uninterrupted, and stable environmental monitoring information.
The hydropower plants are ready to ensure disaster prevention and search and rescue plans; regularly monitor, report the situation, and implement water regulation to reduce floods in the reservoirs of Buon Tua Srah, Buon Kuop, and Srepok 3, ensuring safe operation during the rainy season.
II. Objectives, tasks of the December 2022 plan
In November 2022, the planned electricity output of EVNGenco3 is expected to be 2.679 billion kWh, ensuring the highest availability of power generation units. At the Phu My power plants, the supply of gas is guaranteed according to demand and ready to meet the system's mobilization requirements. The coal-fired power plants are readily available with fuel and capable of generating power as per the demand of the power system. The hydropower plants optimize their operation based on water flow.
The company also continues to implement investment construction projects according to the plan. It maintains stability in environmental protection within the production area and waste disposal sites. It actively carries out activities related to the theme of 2022 and implements the tasks outlined in the 2022 plan. The company continues to promote digital transformation, digitize technical management, operation, and maintenance activities of power plants to achieve the goals set for 2022.

During the month, power plants of EVNGenco3 have successfully satisfied the mobilization of the National Load Dispatch Centre, ensured the safe and continuous power supply. EVNGenco3's power output in November 2021 is 2,441 billion kWh, reaching 88.75% of the plan. However, the load demand of the power system continues to be low due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hydrological conditions are favorable, so plants of Buon Kuop Hydropower Company have mobilized on the basis of water flows.
