On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27th, 1947 - July 27th, 2022), following the direction of the Party Committee of Power Generation Corporation 3, responding to the Statement No. 184/CDGENCO3 dated June 10th, 2022 of the Trade Union of Power Generation Corporation 3 on organizing gratitude activities on this occasion, EVNGenco3 has carried out many meaningful activities to express deep gratitude to heroes, martyrs, wounded soldiers and families who have contributed to the national liberation struggle. Activities are organized actively in many localities where units of the Corporation are located.

On the evening of July 26th, at the Martyrs Cemetery of Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province, members of the Youth Union of Mong Duong Thermal Power Company have come to offer flowers and incense to commemorate heroic martyrs. Each flower and candle shows the sincere and deep gratitude of today's generations for the great merits of those who have sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of our country.
Members of Union Federation of Phu My Thermal Power Company and EPS offer flowers and incense to the martyrs of Phu My Town
In Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, members of the Union Federation of Phu My Thermal Power Company have cleaned up the landscape and offered flowers and incense at the Martyrs' Monument in Phu My Town. The Executive Committee of the Trade Union and Union Federation of the Corporation have coordinated with the People's Committee of My Xuan Ward to organize gratitude activities, visiting and giving 50 gifts to policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area of Xuan My Ward, Phu My Town. The Party Cell 3 and the Trade Union of Workshop Operation Division 1 have repaired indoor electrical systems for 08 households in need of support. The total amount of support for these activities is about 40 million VND.

EVNGENCO 3 Power Service Company (EPS) has also implemented many “When drinking water, remember its source” activities on the occasion of 27th July. The EPS Company's members of the Youth Union have visited and given gifts to 17 policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Phu My Ward, Phu My Town. In addition, the Party Cell of Repair Division (Binh Thuan) of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company has cooperated with the Youth Union of Binh Thanh Commune, Tuy Phong District to visit and give gifts to 5 policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services, giving 10 gifts to disadvantaged children to prepare for the new school year. The total amount of the program performance is nearly 30 million VND.

Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company has organized and presented 78 gifts with a total value of 24 million VND to policy beneficiaries and poor households in Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan Province, expressing deep gratitude and concern of the Company to families with meritorious services to the revolution in the district.
Visiting and giving gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Thu Duc City
To deepen the spirit of history, the Youth Union of EVNGENCO3 has offered flowers and incense at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Thu Duc City, repaired indoor electrical systems for 5 disadvantaged households in Thu Duc City, visited and gave 15 gifts to policy beneficiaries and Vietnamese heroic mothers in Thu Duc City, supporting 10 million VND to the Fund for the Poor and the program “For the Motherland Island”.
Corporation’s Youth Union members give gifts and repair electrical systems for local people
In particular, the Corporation's Youth Union members have also visited Mr. Phan Dang Nhan - residing in An Loi Dong Ward, a veteran who joined the serious battle to keep Rach Chiec Bridge in the 1975 Spring Offensive to liberate the South and unify the country. As his sharing, this was the fiercest battle, many of his comrades had heroically sacrificed. Thanks to the victory, the Rach Chiec Bridge was protected, and our soldiers opened up the gate of Saigon to assess to the Independence Palace and made a historic feat.

The sacred days in July are once again reminded in the heart of every Youth Union member, staff and employees of Power Generation Corporation 3 with deep gratitude and remembrance of the soldiers who died for the peace of the country. The series of gratitude activities on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day on 27th July is a meaningful and annual activity of the Corporation in the work of returning the gratitude and taking care of people with meritorious services to the revolution, and remembering the heroes and martyrs. These gratitude activities are to contribute to educating Youth Union members and employees about the patriotic tradition.
