The Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant has switched from HFO to DO fuel for start-up and co-burning, and upgraded its ESP (Electrostatic Precipitator) dust filtration system, ensuring high exhaust quality and minimizing dark smoke during startup. Additionally, it continues to implement mixed coal burning to proactively secure fuel sources, optimize unit efficiency, and significantly reduce ash and slag generation.

24/7 Online Environmental Monitoring

The real-time data collected by the Plant's environmental monitoring system are directly transmitted to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Binh Thuan Province and displayed on an electronic board at the factory entrance, allowing both authorities and the public to monitor environmental protection efforts and showcasing the transparency in the company’s operations.
