Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company (Power Generation Corporation 3 - EVNGENCO 3) stated that the promotion of ash and slag consumption in association with safety works of the Plant during the power generation operation was especially paid attention by Vinh Than Thermal Power Company. The transportation and storage of slag and ash in yards were strictly carried out in accordance with procedures.
After the bottom slag is transported by special vehicles, the Company has completed the preparation of infrastructures (ash pipelines at the oil port, parking areas for tankers, specialized fly-ash vehicles etc.), plans related to fire prevention and fighting and environmental protection for the fly ash export through the oil port of Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant.

With the thorough and complete preparation of the coordination and operation procedures, Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company’s plan has been approved and passed by relevant authorities.
On November 14th, 2020, a vessel carrying 1,750 tons of fly ash has left the oil port of Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant to transport for consumption. As reported, at 11:00 am on November 15th, 2020, the second vessel with a tonnage of 1,600 tons has arrived at the oil port of Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant to take fly ash for consumption.
After more than 5 years of operation, Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company has constantly strived to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
In the coming time, the Company will continue to develop and complete final legal procedures to simultaneously implement consumption and use solutions to thoroughly solve the ash and slag generated by Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company.
