Exchanging with Securities Companies and Investment Funds, Mr. Dang Thanh Hung - Deputy Director of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company informed about its production and business situations in recent years and updated the situation in the first 9 months of 2020. Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company is currently operating the Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant (capacity of 1244 MW) and Vinh Tan 2 Solar Power Plant (capacity of 42.65 MWp) at the Vinh Tan Power Complex in Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan Province. In recent years, plant units have always operated stably and satisfied successfully the mobilization of the National Load Dispatch Centre as well as guaranteed environmental protection.
In the first 9 months of 2020, Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant and Vinh Tan 2 Solar Power Plant generated 6.27 billion kWh, increased up to 12.18% over the same period in 2019. To improve efficiency, the Company applies the coal-burning method, in which domestic and foreign coal is mixed up. Accordingly, in 2020, the Company has used around 1.2 million tons of imported Anthracite coal (from South African). In addition, Mr. Hung also shared more information about the coal import plans and other future directions and plans of the Company.

Securities Companies and Investment Funds have learned about actual operating procedures of the thermal power plant, coal fuel supply and storage systems, ash and slag storage yards; visited the Central Control Room, monitored the Automatic Monitoring System and environmental electronic bulletin and Community Relations Department of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company. Thereby, the delegation highly appreciated the operation of Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant and its environmental protection and management. At the same time, they hope that EVNGENCO 3 will continue to maintain continuous and more information on production and business operations, and organized more events to introduce PGV shares to the investor community.
