Responding to the call of the General Secretary - President, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong; at the same time, implementing directives of the Party Committee of Vietnam Electricity, the Party Committee of Power Generation Corporation 3 on joining hands with the nation's fellow-citizens to overcome consequences of floods in the Central Provinces, the Corporation and Standing Committee of the Trade Union of Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO 3) have mobilized staff and employees to actively contribute to support people in the Central Region to surmount consequences of natural disasters, thereby stabilizing the life and gradually restoring infrastructure systems.
Under the spirit of solidarity and “the good leaves protect the tor-out leaves”, each employee of the Corporation has contributed and donated one day's salary according to the campaign of the Corporation and its Trade Union. In addition, staff, employees and female officers of the Corporation also actively responded to donations and supports at the appeal of the Executive Board and the Trade Union’s Feminine Occupations of the Corporation.

On October 22nd 2020, the Power Generation Corporation 3 has deducted VND 500,000,000 from the mobilization amount donated and supported by staff and employees to hand over to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to support people in the Central Region to overcome natural disasters, storms and floods. At the same time, the Corporation will organize working delegations including union members and volunteers to directly come to localities of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces to donate necessities and support and help schools, local people in the Central Region to overcome consequences of natural disasters (replacing lights, electric wires, cleaning etc.) as well as provide construction costs for the “Flood-Resistant Housing” program for the local people.
