In response to the 8th EVN Pink Week with the message "Ten Thousand Hearts, One Love", EVNGenco3's employees participated in a voluntary blood donation program in December 2022, contributing blood to save patients. This practical activity commemorates the 68th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2022), as well as the 10th anniversary of the establishment of EVNGenco3.

Employees of Phu My Thermal Power Company responded to the voluntary blood donation program

On the morning of December 23, 2022, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Phu My Thermal Power Company, in collaboration with the Red Cross of Phu My town and the Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital, organized a voluntary blood donation program in response to the 8th EVN Pink Week. The event was attended by employees of Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, EVNGENCO3 (EPS) Power Plant Services and Repair Company, PV GAS, Southeast Gas Transport Company, and Mekong 2.2 Energy Company. With a total of over 150 registered employees, the Cho Ray Hospital Blood Transfusion Center collected more than 120 units of blood that met the requirements.

In Binh Thuan, where Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company is located, the unit collaborated with the Tuy Phong Red Cross and Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital to organize a blood donation program on December 9, 2022. This is also a deeply humane activity after a year of natural disasters and the ongoing pandemic, which has seriously affected the socio-economy. The 8th Pink Week at Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company attracted many employees from the company and the Vinh Tan Thermal Power Project Management Board to participate and donate nearly 90 units of blood to support patients with serious illnesses being treated at Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital.

The Youth Union of Mong Duong Thermal Power Company actively participates in the program

During the 8th Pink Week of EVN, the Thermal Power Company Mong Duong actively participated in the program on the morning of December 7th, 2022 at the Company's Hall (Mong Duong Ward, Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province). With the active participation of employees from Mông Dương Thermal Power Company and Mong Duong Repair Workshop (EPS Company), the program received 72 blood units. These blood units will be stored and used for the treatment of patients in Quang Ninh province when necessary.

In Đak Lak, many electricity sector employees are currently working in the province, such as Đak Lak Power Company, Dray H’Linh Hydroelectric Plant, and Đak Lak Power Transmission Company... The Buon Kuop Hydroelectric Company (a unit of EVNGENCO3) also registered to participate and contributed 20 out of 160 blood units at the event.

Parallel to that, affiliated units of the EVN such as Sesan 3A Hydroelectric Plant, Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydroelectric Plant, Thac Ba Hydroelectric Plant, etc also collaborated with local hospitals to respond to the 8th EVN Pink Week.
At the EVN headquarters and its affiliated units, the Labor Union and Youth Union actively organized information sharing, disseminated images and the significance of the program, and mobilized employees to participate in the EVN Pink Week through social media platforms, such as changing the avatar profile picture of their Facebook, Zalo accounts and so on to create a positive effect for the program.

In total, during this campaign, the entire EVN Corporation donated more than 450 blood units to hospitals. The voluntary blood donation program of the Pink Week launched by EVN nationwide since 2015 has truly become a festival of compassion and sharing of every employee in the Vietnam Electricity sector towards the community and society. Through the program, the amount of blood received will contribute practically to overcoming the shortage of blood supply in the treatment and rescue of patients.
