Embracing the spirit of youth volunteerism on the anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity Industry, Mr. Tran Manh Tung, an employee of Mong Duong Thermal Power Plant, has actively contributed to both his work and community service, earning widespread admiration.
Responding to the company’s directive to support disadvantaged households in Mong Duong Ward (Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh) by repairing and upgrading household electrical systems, Mr. Tung, together with a team of Youth Union members, enthusiastically stepped forward to undertake the task.
While ensuring their primary work responsibilities were met, they voluntarily used their free time to repair household electricity lines. Undeterred by adverse weather conditions, their sole motivation was to complete the work swiftly, helping residents stabilize their lives. This initiative was not only a social responsibility but also a meaningful contribution to enhancing the quality of life in the community.

From the early stages of the project, Mr. Tung and his fellow volunteers worked tirelessly, enduring scorching heat and muddy terrain to install and connect electrical wires for households in need.
Engaging in social welfare initiatives is demanding, requiring both time and effort. However, for Mr. Tung and his colleagues, such contributions are the responsibility and duty of Youth Union members to foster community development, better the image of electricity workers, and demonstrate genuine care for the local people.
