That is the topic of discussion given by Mr. Le Van Danh - General Director of Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) at the Festival of Innovation and Creativity in Human Resource Training and Development organized by Vietnam Electricity (EVN).
Taking place in 3 days from 8th to 10th June, 2022 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the Festival of Innovation and Creativity in Human Resource Training and Development of EVN consists of 3 main activities, namely Competition of Innovative and Creative Ideas in Human Resource Development, Workshop on Innovation in Human Resources Training and Development, Summary Conference on Human Resources Training and Development of EVN in the period of 2016 - 2020 and the plan for the period of 2021 - 2025. The participants of the Festival include Mr. Duong Quang Thanh - Chairman of the Member’s Council of EVN, Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan - General Director of EVN, Leaders of the Finance & Budget Department of EVN, Corporations and member units of EVN with the aim of sharing initiatives and lessons learned in the HR training and development in particular and HR management in general.

Sharing in the Summary Conference on Human Resources Training and Development of EVN, Mr. Le Van Danh has presented the outstanding results of the Power Generation Corporation 3 in the HR training and development in the period of 2016 - 2021. During the last 5 years, EVNGENCO3 has closely followed the training programs of the Corporation, 100% of incumbent managers of the Corporation have completed the training programs for level 3 and 4 managers. It has made use of the superiority of the E-learning training system in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to the excellent completion of internal training courses with more than 50,000 training sessions/year, focusing on contents of digital transformation, soft skills, and professional expertise. Standards are regularly updated and improved in terms of promotion, rank maintenance, and the strengthening of training and development of corporate culture. In particular, it also focuses on intensive training, developing a team of senior experts, gradually replacing foreign experts in major repairs, mastering the technology of dynamic balancing, turbine adjustment, generator excitation and so on. Over the years, the cost for hiring experts is reduced by over 340 billion VND.

Participating in the booth of innovative and creative products in training, Power Generation Corporation 3 has introduced training programs of remote experts using virtual reality glasses, remote monitoring programs of real-time operating system (RMS) researched and developed by EPS Company, and the training program on operation simulation - Training Simulator that is currently applied at Phu My Thermal Power Company, introducing at the conference a video on experience of high-quality HR development and training that is implemented. Notably, EPS Company has become one of the trademarks of Power Generation Corporation 3 with more than 24 years of experience in the field of management, operation, and repair of power plants (gas, coal, hydro and solar power).
At this Conference, EPS Company is one of the 9 units to receive the Certificate of Merit given by the Chairman of the Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) for collectives with excellent achievements in HR training and development in the period of 2016 - 2020.
