From the beginning of the week up to now, the working atmosphere at Power Generation Corporation 3 (headquartered in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City) has become very thrilling when women from departments and divisions wear vivid Ao Dai to work at offices. The hall of the Corporation’s Headquarter is more cheerful because women often take pictures with each other after working hours or breaks.

This is the first year EVNGENCO 3 responded to the “Ao Dai Week” launched by the Vietnam Women's Union. Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Lan - Head of Feminine Occupations of the Corporation shared that as soon as the movement was launched, all women responded enthusiastically “This year, EVNGENCO 3 encourages women to wear Ao Dai from 1st to 8th March in response to the “Ao Dai Week”. I also feel that female employees respond very positively; especially when they received the notification from the Feminine Occupations, they have greeted with a very relaxed and happy mood”.

Ms. Ngo Nhu Ngoc - Deputy Chairman of the Women's Union of District 4 said that “Responding to Ao Dai Week, at the district level, Women's Union of District 4 has also organized 4 activities, including bicycle parade with riders wearing Ao Dai, Ao Dai Contest with the theme “Pride of Vietnamese Ao Dai” and a stall named “Zero VND Ao Dai” to present Ao Dai to members in difficult circumstances as well as female workers in industrial zones, especially public service companies in District 4“.
