The days just before Lunar New Year 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic has been very complicatedly with many infectious cases in the community. This has impacted on the life of Vietnamese people in general and all employees of the Power Generation Corporation 3 in particular. Under this situation, some units of the Corporation have implemented the concentrated living plan (after the working hours) for operation and repair employees and isolated workers in operation management areas at the request of the Corporation and the local government for purposes of the pandemic prevention and control.

The days just before Lunar New Year 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic has been very complicatedly with many infectious cases in the community. This has impacted on the life of Vietnamese people in general and all employees of the Power Generation Corporation 3 in particular. Under this situation, some units of the Corporation have implemented the concentrated living plan (after the working hours) for operation and repair employees and isolated workers in operation management areas at the request of the Corporation and the local government for purposes of the pandemic prevention and control.

To promptly encourage employees and staff, the Corporation and its Trade Union have timely visited and encouraged workers and employees of the units implementing the concentrated living plan and being isolated in operation management areas; at the same time, the EVN’s Trade Union have paid great attentions and supported employees and staff of the Mong Duong Thermal Power Company directly under the Power Generation Corporation 3 who are operating the electricity systems during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic with an amount of 50 million VND.

Chairman of the Board of Management of the Corporation has sent a letter of encouragement to families of employees and staff of the Mong Duong Thermal Power Company and Mong Duong Repair Workshop under the EPS Company, units located in Quang Ninh Province. On behalf of the Corporation’s leaders, the Chairman acknowledged and thanked solid supports and affection from the families of employees; and he also expressed his deepest greetings and encouragement to employees and their families.

The total cost for visiting and encouraging employees and workers by the Corporation and its Trade Union is 369 million VND and trade unions of units are required to coordinate with the specialized board to promptly transfer money directly to each employee at the support level of one million VND/person; and also purchasing traditional necessities in the Lunar New Year (Banh Chung/Banh Tet, Tet jams etc.).

The Corporation has provided 270 sets of medical protective clothing for the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic for the Mong Duong Thermal Power Company and Mong Duong Repair Workshop under the EPS Company with the total value of nearly 70 million VND.

All above activities are the encouragement, attention and sharing of the leaders of the Corporation and its Trade Union to all employees and workers in units located in areas where are seriously impacted by the re-outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the community in the days just before the Tan Suu Lunar New Year 2021 with the belief that the pandemic will be controlled early, all employees and staff are safe and strong to stabilize the production and their life.
