During the past 4 day-off in the holiday from April 30th to May 3rd, 2021, power plants of the Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO 3) have operated safely and stably, satisfied the mobilization of the National Load Dispatch Centre. All plant units have also implemented well COVID-19 prevention measures.

The Corporation's electricity output in the public holiday reached over 247 million kWh, of which the output of thermal power plants accounted for about 94.6%; especially, over 77 million kWh of electricity was produced on May 3rd. Power plants of the Corporation have operated safely, continuously and met all the dispatch orders, price offers of the electricity market, contributed to the national energy security without causing any problem affecting the power supply during the public holiday. In addition, the environmental protection of plants is always guaranteed.
To guarantee the safe electricity supply during the public holiday, the Corporation has directed power plants to establish detailed plans to ensure the information security, electricity production safety, fire and explosion prevention; checking, inspecting and handling all existing problems of equipment in the days before the public holidays; assigning 24/24 on-duty repair employees to be ready to handle failures.

In particular, under complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic and during the public holiday, power plants of the Corporation have also strictly complied with the 5K rule, epidemic prevention measures according to the guidance of the Ministry of Health/EVN and local authorities, actively implemented plans to respond to all situations of disease developments. The Corporation has required power plants to proactively grasp the situation, assess cases of employees and their family members who went to epidemic areas before and during the public holidays in order to guide the medical declaration and correctly implement the epidemic prevention measures. Currently, the Corporation has not recorded any suspected case of SARS-CoV-2 infection and all epidemic prevention measures are still being maintained after the public holiday.
