With the delegated authority from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade presented a Certificate of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company.
After 30 years of formation and development, Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company currently has eight gas turbine units and two steam turbine units. The total electricity output produced by Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company is over 41.91 billion kWh. On average, the company supplies 1.4 billion kWh to the power system each year, contributing significantly to the economic development, political stability, culture, and society, as well as meeting the electricity demand for production, business, and daily life of the people. The company also implements social welfare policies, supports the local community in COVID-19 prevention and control, contributes to funds, sponsors the construction of charity houses, implements programs for the poor, supports contributions to disaster-stricken areas, etc.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a Certificate of Commendation to one collective and three individuals of the company for their outstanding achievements in contributing to the construction and development of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
