On March 13, 2023, Buon Tua Srah hydropower plant, a subsidiary of Buon Kuop Hydropower Company, welcomed over 30 students and teachers from Hung Vuong High School in Quang Phu commune, Krong No district, Dak Nong province for a visit and hands-on experience at the plant.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the power generation process and the main components of the Buon Tua Srah hydropower plant by technical staff. At the same time, the plant's technical staff also emphasized issues related to safety and environmental protection during the tour.

The students were taken to visit production areas of the power plant, including the SCADA system in the central control room, the self-used AC-DC system, the turbine-generator system, and more. They were able to witness firsthand the process of converting water potential energy into electrical energy and learn about modern production equipment.

The field trip has helped the students of Hung Vuong High School understand more about the operation of the hydroelectric power plant and the process of generating electricity from water. This is a practical and useful experience that helps students gain more knowledge about renewable energy and promotes their awareness of the environment. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for students to experience the work in the electricity industry, develop necessary skills for the future, grasp the information on the process of coordinating and regulating water discharge during operation and flood control of the plants.
