Operational situation in November 2021, objectives and tasks in December 2021

In November 2021, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) continues to perform well the dual task of ensuring the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring power supply for the country's socio-economic development and people's daily activities. In particular, EVN has ensured a safe and stable power supply for the second session of the 15th National Assembly and proactively responded to floods and landslides in many Central - Central Highlands provinces.

EVN implements 'Customer Gratitude Month' 2021

Towards the 67th anniversary of the Vietnam Power Sector’s Traditional Day (21 December 1954 – 21 December 2021), Vietnam Electricity (EVN) will implement the "Customer Gratitude Month" program” in December 2021 and January 2022.

Operational situation in October 2021, objectives and tasks in November 2021

In October 2021, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) continues to perform well the dual task of ensuring the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring power supply for the country's socio-economic development and people's daily activities. Particularly, EVN has ensured a safe, stable power supply and proactively responded to typhoon No. 7 (LIONROCK) and typhoon No. 8 (KOMPASU).

The signing ceremony of a credit agreement for a non-government guaranteed loan between Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) and the Agency for French Development (AFD) for the Expanded Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant Project

On 10 November 2021, in Hanoi, EVN  and AFD held the signing ceremony of a credit agreement for a preferential non-government guaranteed loan worth 70 million euros (equivalent to VND 1,900 billion, accounting for about 20% of total investment capital) for Expanded Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant Project.

SITUATION OF PRODUCTION, BUSINESS, INVESTMENT AND CONSTRUCTION IN NOVEMBER AND TARGETS, TASKS AND PLANS IN DECEMBER 2021

During the month, power plants of EVNGENCO3 have successfully satisfied the mobilization of the National Load Dispatch Centre, ensured the safe and continuous power supply. EVNGENCO3's power output in November 2021 is 2,441 billion kWh, reaching 88.75% of the plan. However, the load demand of the power system continues to be low due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hydrological conditions are favorable, so plants of Buon Kuop Hydropower Company have mobilized on the basis of water flows.

SITUATION OF PRODUCTION, BUSINESS, INVESTMENT AND CONSTRUCTION IN THE FIRST 9 MONTHS OF 2021 AND TARGETS, TASKS AND PLANS IN OCTOBER 2021

EVNGENCO3's power output in September 2021 is 2.067 billion kWh, reaching 77.73% of the plan. The accumulated output in the first 9 months of 2021 is 22.562 billion kWh, reaching 68.98% of the year plan.

SITUATION OF PRODUCTION, BUSINESS, INVESTMENT AND CONSTRUCTION IN 2020 AND TARGETS, TASKS AND PLANS IN 2021

The generated power output in 2020 of EVNGENCO 3 is 33.254 billion kWh, of which, the accumulated output is 31.103 billion kWh, reaching 100.1% of the plan.

PRODUCTION, BUSINESS AND CONSTRUCTION INVESTMENT SITUATION IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS AND TARGETS, TASKS AND PLANS FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS OF 2020

The power output in June 2020 of EVNGENCO 3 is 2,925 billion kWh, the accumulated output in the first 6 months of 2020 is 17,061 billion kWh, reaching 48.25% of the year plan because the power grid’s additional charges decreased sharply due to impacts of the Covid-19 epidemic.

On the latest holiday of 30/4 and 1/5/2018, nationally, although the capacity and power consumption reduced compared to the normal days before the holidays but still increase compared to the same period in 2018.
