Binh Thanh is a commune in Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan Province, where Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company located. The actual visit at Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant is an opportunity for the cadres of officers in Binh Thanh commune, the residents living near the plant to understand the operation and monitor the environmental management of Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant.
More than 40 members of the cadres from Binh Thanh commune were briefed on the process of producing electricity of Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant, visiting the Community Relations Office to learn about the management activities of a large capacity power plant, with modern technology equipment and especially in compliance with the environmental safety standards.

After that, the delegates visited Coal Port, observed the process of unloading coal, supervised the process of operation and environmental treatment at the control center, were heard and explained the process of operation, monitored the treatment of emission, wastes and sewage, the environmental parameters of the ash pond.
